Truro is an eccentric and hyperactive
He excels at household chores and enjoys doing them. He spends most of his time baking unusual pies because he dreams of winning the local "Original Pie" contest.
In fact, he likes all sorts of contests and he often drags Michel into ridiculous "father/son" competitions (best tap dance duet, or best Gregorian chant duet).
Ronica is a keen ornithologist.
She can often be seen scanning the sky with her binoculars in search of rare species and so doesn't notice when Michel gets up to mischief. She occasionally brings home rare birds that Michel eats up.
She's fairly tough, more sensible than Truro in times of panic but she has no artistic sense whatsoever. Her cooking is not just bad, it's dangerous.
Michel is a happy child cherished by his parents. He likes eating birds and jelly-coated shoes.
He's intuitive and spontaneous; most often affectionate or indifferent to friends and family though he can become aggressive if he feels threatened (he bristles his fur).
Michel goes on in his own sweet way without necessarily understanding what goes on around him but he can also be exceptionally intelligent in certain situations (for instance, he's a Rubik's cube expert). He has a crush on Sylfiana and his best friend is Tenatus.
Tenatus is Michel's best friend. He's intellectual, exceptionally gifted, and devoid of social skills.
He can be awkward or tactless with others. His friendship with Michel is very important to him and he can be jealous if he feels he's being neglected.
Tenatus is constantly devising new theories that he submits to Michel, whose judgment he considers as unerring. He's convinced that Michel is as smart as he is and makes the perfect pal.
Zona gets along well with Michel.
She has a penchant for magic and esotericism. She likes telling horrible stories that scare everybody.
Sylfiana is in Michel's class. She's bossy and short-tempered; Michel is crazy about her.
She isn't particularly beautiful but Michel is so besotted with her that he sometimes has trouble controlling himself (he often follows Sylfiana around, which never fails to exasperate her).
She puts up with him, avoids him, occasionally mistreats him but Michel is unshakable; he always goes back to her.
